I just ordered this bumper from Quadratec for $269.00 Anyone got one of these yet? It is the Olympic rear "Rock Bumper" Hope to get mine in a few days! They have them in stock plus I can't justify spending 1000+ for the ones with a tire carrier I don't need.

The bumper is nice, but it looks like it leaves all of the body seam (normally hidden by the bumper) exposed.

I was looking at that too, but I have access to a shop with a drill press and I can move the mounting point up to raise it high enough to cover most of the seam. There seems to be enough room under the spare tire to go up an inch or two. I just have to see how it looks once I install it whether I mod it

I'll have to agree, to short. Maybe if the expossed body seem's were painted black it would look good. Aside from that the bumper looks pretty nice, if you lift it up a bit like you were saying it would look pretty sweet.

Who's jeep is that in the pic? Maybe it has a body lift on it.....that would account for the unsightly pantylines

Technically, no, they are still on my JK, but they are somewhat spoken for at the moment, It really just boils down to how long it's going to take my PSC wheels to come in (quoted last week at 45-60 days unless I swap to 17's).

That's cool, then you can "adjust" it if it's not too your liking. John L has a good point too. The JK in that pc could have a BL on it. The Bumper looks good though, like the one that I had on my CJ.

Default Should be here on Friday the 13th

According to the tracking number, it will be here on Friday the 13th. I will put it on Saturday and take some pics, then decide if it needs modification. I want to add some d-ring shackle mounts, but I heard the PureJeep ones were hard to find.

I would like to see some pics when it comes in also. Would you mind taking shots of the bumper before it is installed? I am looking for a midsize rear bumper that does not extend out past the body panels on each side. And like you, I can't justify spending a high amount for one. Out of curiousity, do you know the thickness on the material used?
