Check Out This Cheap and Easy DIY Door Hanger

My biggest problem with a Jeep Wrangler is the same problem I have with any car that has removable panels, like T-Tops or Targa panels. The best way to drive them is with the bits removed, but what the hell do you do with all those extra parts when you don’t need them? There have been lots of DIY door hanging solutions in the forums, but this latest one is probably one of my favorites simply for its ease, and rock bottom price. Using a spare piece of wood and a few bits from the hardware store, JK-Forum member rah was able to create a hanging system that holds all four doors from his Wrangler Unlimited. And he did it for less than $30.

It may not be the prettiest thing to look at, but for a quick and easy door hanger, it works really well. If you want something like this, he was kind enough to post up a full thread about how it was done, what parts he used, and a cost breakdown. He even put in a drawing with measurements and included part numbers for the exact hanging hooks he used.

My only issue with the post is that there is no “during construction” photos to provide reference, but it really is just putting some screws through a piece of wood. If you need a step-by-step for that, you probably shouldn’t be attempting this project in the first place.

If you need a good place to hang your doors for that wonderful summer weather, click that thread link and get to work.
