Nitto Tire Gives JK Experience New Horizons to Explore in Alaska

Nothing really matches the isolated expanses of Alaska. And nothing is more suited to tackle the rough terrain than a Jeep JK equipped with Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. As you can see in the video below, Alaska’s snow, rocks, deep trenches of mud, and beautiful scenery make for one epic adventure. Ultimately, the group of Jeeps drove literally as far as they could, stopping only for one small obstacle called the Arctic Ocean. It certainly wasn’t as easy as a cruise down the highway, but Jeep and Nitto Tire proved just how powerful their combination could be.

And don’t take it from me. Reviews on our very own forum back up the bold claims presented by Nitto Tire. Two separate JK Forum members used the exact same size – 37×12.50×17. But their uses were much different. Forum member Scooby Snacks‘ review involves more rock crawling and sandy terrain. He was mostly impressed with how quiet the tires are for road use. While another member, phljeeper, also echoed the good road manners, noting that the Ridge Grappler is not only good for off-road, but on-road as well, due to tighter blocks in the center part of the tread.

It’s not every day that you set off into the wilderness of Alaska, but our fourm member know there are some serious trails right here in the contiguous states. It’s good to know that the only thing that’ll stop you are those pesky oceans.
