Not Your Sister’s Barbie Jeep

So, what are some of the things you’d do for $200? Would you bite the head off a bat, ala Ozzy Osbourne? Take a hammer to your beloved JK Wrangler? Or would you truly embarrass yourself by racing in a Jeep? No, not your JK or XJ or any other Jeep product, but instead a Power Wheels Barbie Jeep. You might look pretty in pink, but you may end up looking bloody red, too.

Barbie Jeep Racing is the series that only the bravest of the brave dare to compete in. You travel down a rocky, steep hill, and allow gravity to serve as your motor. As you pick up speed, you begin to pray that the axles will hold up and you won’t end up tumbling down, but few ever stay upright. Well, at least in stock versions. There are those who do modify their Power Wheels to take the abuse, but they are the most insane racers of them all. I mean, they spent money on a plastic Jeep that wasn’t a 2015 Trailhawk Cherokee.

Check out some of the carnage below, which Busted Knuckle Video captured at the 2015 Extreme Barbie Jeep Racing Finals at Morris Mountain in Delta Alabama. It’s even crazier than usual, what with the largest payout in event history on the line: $200.
