Classic Willys Jeep Wagon Listed on Craigslist for $3,500

I’d love to see how this one would play out in a game of “Name That Jeep”. My guess is that unless there are a few diehard Jeep historians hanging out here at JK Forum, this one would leave most stumped, if asked to identify the vehicle and the model year of this Willys.

Then again, all the true Willys fans would probably nail it right off the bat.

The 1962 Willys Jeep Sport Wagon is, after all, pretty iconic in some circles. Still, you have to wonder if anyone would be willing to pay $3,500 for this one that was recently listed on Craigslist.

According to the owner, the Jeep is powered by a 327 V8 Chevy engine and still runs – although it’s in need of a new set of spark plugs and wires. The paint on the Jeep is also described as being a “little weathered” with some minor rust on the body.

All that said, I guess whether or not you think it’s worth $3,500 probably depends on how big of a Willys fan you are. But if nothing else, the Jeep definitely would make for a pretty cool ride, especially when pulling up to a Halloween party.
