Fallen Heroes Jeep Build JK Forum is proud to announce our partnership with US Army veteran Robert Basil, builder of the Fallen Heroes Car, in the building of the Fallen Heroes Jeep, a rolling, crawling, mudding tribute to America's military veterans. Over the next few months you can watch as Rebel Off-Road brings together components from our generous project partners in the creation of a tough and capable JK to be unveiled at Easter Jeep Safari in Moab. The Fallen Heroes Jeep will then spend its weekends attending car shows, off road shows and wheeling events reminding folks of the great debt of gratitude we owe our military service men and women.

Win a JCR Offroad rear bumper / tire carrier and help support 4 Wheel 2 Heal!

I tried twice but again it was deleted. Figured that you wouldn't delete this thread. Contest or no contest. People should know what and who they are participating in. It's easy to look like a good guy but it goes to far when the claim is support for a injured service member group and it really is for personnel gain.

No one including JKF should stand for it. It is understood that you backed the "cause" with labor and financially but a real group would stand up for the very service members this sc claims to support

Entered also. No reason a legit charity shouldn't be supported because this guy might not be legit. I like the T-Shirts although the grey one is the one I wanted.

Hey all, we just found out about this raffle when one of our volunteers asked us about it, so I wanted to pop in and thank Mr. Basil for bringing attention to 4 Wheel To Heal, and to answer any questions or concerns there might be about who we are and how we run the organization.

4 Wheel To Heal is a 501c3 organization that takes Wounded Warriors out wheeling and camping to improve morale and help take their mind off what they are going through while in recovery. We cover all expenses for the Warrior and a caregiver, including transportation to and from the event, meals, any event fees, we'll even supply camping equipment like tents and sleeping bags if needed. We started out in the MD/VA/DC area a few years ago and you may have seen us at any of the Big Dog events or other regional wheeling events. We expanded into SoCal about two years ago when co-founder Mark Schultz was stationed in San Diego. As we've ramped operations here in SoCal we've taken Warriors to TDS, Operation Desert Fun (which benefits the CalDiego Paralyzed Vets Association), several smaller club-led runs, and our big achievement of taking 11 Warriors out to King of the Hammers where several JK-Forum members wheeled with the Warriors. We are also expanding into other regions across the country and just recently took some Warriors to Jeep Beach in Florida.

We'll have Warriors out at the PA All Breeds show July 19-20 and in Big Bear for a club-led run that same weekend here in SoCal, and we have lots more on the schedule for the rest of 2014 including Big Dogs Main Jambo (VA) in September, Rausch Creek (PA) in September, Jeep Creep (MI) in October, and the NC4x4 4th Annual Veterans Ride at Uwharrie (NC) in November. You can check out our Facebook page to keep up with everything we have going on. If you're going to be at one of these events, stop by and say hello and thank a Warrior!

https://www.facebook.com/4WheeltoHeal

We are an entirely 100% volunteer driven organization. None of us personally benefits in any way (other than the good feeling we get seeing a smile on a Warrior's face), we don't use any cash or merchandise on our rigs that we use to take the Warriors out, no one gets a salary. We believe in total transparency and encourage people to ask us questions about our finances and how we run the organization. Our goal is to use 100% of all donations toward the expenses of taking Warriors out wheeling and our merchandise sales (T shirts, hoodies, stickers, etc.) toward our admin expenses like the cost of hosting our website, printing costs, and vendor booths at off road shows. Last year we achieved 98% of total donations going directly toward the Warriors because we fell a bit short in merchandise sales to cover our admin expenses.

Our 2013 financial statement was posted on our site earlier this week and we encourage you to take a look at it and ask us any questions. We have nothing to hide and are very proud of what we have been accomplishing.

Financials | 4 Wheel to Heal

Check out our website (which is in the midst of being redone because we've accomplished so much in the past two years) and Facebook page, check out our financials and fire away if you have any questions...we welcome your scrutiny!

We are extremely grateful for all of the support given to us by the off road community, we couldn't do it without you! We do want to remind anyone who wishes to help raise funds or promote merchandise sales on our behalf to please contact us to discuss it first because there are many regulations concerning how a 501c3 may solicit donations and merchandise sales, including making sure we are properly registered in any state in which fundraising takes place, even when done by a third-party on our behalf, and because people are so eager to help us people sometimes they forget about that. You would not believe how much paperwork we have to deal with! And of course, vendors who wish donate merchandise for raffles are encouraged to deal directly with us so the donation qualifies for a tax deduction.

If you are a Wounded Warrior who would like to attend an event or trail run with us, we want to hear from you! Anyone who is interested in volunteering with us at trail runs (help with cooking and cleaning is required!), at our booth at vendor shows, or on the business side of things, and is willing to work hard for the only reward of knowing that you helped make a difference for our deserving Warriors, please contact us via our website.

Thanks again to Mr. Basil for bringing attention to 4 Wheel To Heal, and a special thanks to those of you who purchased T shirts and have helped us in the past!

I've heard of you guys through a couple different places now do I knew you were legit. Only issue I have is your out of the grey trail ready shirts in xlarge when I made my order a few days ago so I had to settle for the black tshirts. Lol. All joking aside thanks for your support to my fellow comrades and vets.

One question though, is this not a raffle between your organization and JCR? It seemed that Basil was just the middle man.

It is not being coordinated with us or conducted by us DunnyBunny. We are not directly involved with the raffle and had no prior knowledge of it. Your shirt purchases do benefit us though and we really appreciate it.

I can check with our "merchandise manager" on the stock of the gray shirt and see when we'll be getting more in if you'd like, just let me know what size you are looking for. Which one did you get? The OD green is very popular and looks great in person!

Got the black shirt. Size is XL. I might order another when you get some in. I really liked that one.

I understand now what exactly is going on. Thanks for the info.

I'll check on the black for you. With all of the events we've had lately we might have some that were out in the field and waiting to be checked back in. I'm not involved with merchandise handling/control but I'll touch base with the person who is.
