it is identical to to the p30, however the only difference that I know of its the p30 has an external hammer whereas the vp9s' is interval. But yes it's a striker fire system on it as well with a short reset.

Don't carry every day but when I do I carry one of my Sigs; P226 9mm, P228 9mm, P229 .357, or my ankle gun, P239 9mm. I love my Sigs. Have carried a Sig for almost 30 years.

Ruger SR1911 commander length .45, great gun and pretty compact for what it is. not to change the topic but how do you guys carry the guns when driving in your jeeps, I'm not talking about the underseat storage i mean like in a holster thats readily accessible if your in a bad neighborhood. i like the idea of taking my weapon out of my iwb holster and putting it into a holster thats attached to my console or something. easier to get to
