Default Best Affordable CB Radio

Hello,

I know I could work through this forum to find the answer, but to save some time, what's the up-to-date sentiment on best, affordable CB radio system. Basically I just need something to permit me to join a local club.

Thanks!

The Cobra 75WXST is a very easy install. I will let you use our search tool to learn why. ;-)

Uniden 510 or 520 is a great little CB radio. Typically can be found for under $50.00

The Midland 75-822 is great. No permanent install if you don't want to, and it can be used as a portable unit. You can find it for around $75 shipped.

After my research, the Uniden520 is the one i'll buy. There are methods of mounting it that are non-perminent too.

What about the Cobra 75 WX St? You can hide it, easy install and you don't have the box to mount.

I installed a Midland 1001lwx cb radio. I like it because it's compact, has the NOAA scan feature, PA capability and the noise filter
