So it looks like a pretty good deal. 50" led lightbar, 300w, 30,000 lumen.....but it says 51.5" outside mounting length.

I was planning on going with the Rough Country brackets, but they only come in 50". I sent the seller a message and here's the response:

50" is just a standard which people search for. The dimension between your brackets would need to be 51.5"

Seems weird to me?

It's confusing. I'm searching for 50" light bars, then the description says actual size is 51.5" or some other number. One read 50", then 50" was the lens, 52" housing and 54" with brackets.

So Rough Country said the light bar should be 50 5/16" length for their brackets to work. Most of the 50" light bar auctions on Ebay I've looked at are not 50" when you read the description.

So the people using the Rough Country mounts, what light bars are they using??

I've recently got such LED lightbar for my Jeep from Ledoutfitters website too. I like it a lot really! The quality is great, and they work properly too for me. I can recommend it to everyone here. Have you ever tried some from this store?

hotprowl did you ever find a bracket/light? What kind of bracket were you looking for. I have a bunch of different options available on my site for the JK's. My favorite is the 50" windshield mount with built in lower pillar mounts for smaller lights. So you get the option to mount small lights on the bottom and a 50" up top.

PM me and I'll help you find something. I sell the AuxBeam brand, and only their 5D lights really for the LED bars. I find they are better then some of the other brands online as they don't leak (like a lot of cheap bars do). They have built in evaporation devices to let out moisture/pressure.

Here is an example from their site on a mount w/light bar:
