Here are some pictures of the equipment. That sub is a 65 lb beast!

A couple pics of the sub and enclosure installed. It is incredibly powerful. I chose a down-firing enclosure as this will help contain the bass when the top is off.

You can see what is left of a Tuffy Security enclosure that I chopped up to hide the sub.

I had to cut the Tuffy over and over to get it to fit properly, but it was worth it because it is nice and snug. I didn't like the look of the metal so I carpeted it and added some little hooks for bungie cords.

I made the Sundown sign out of 2 sheets of polycarbonate and 2 Sundown stickers. Wrapped in blue LEDs it's a fun effect. Also made the little LED light bar that is under the sub enclosure.

I put the audio controls below the steering wheel. Added some more blue LEDs in the cab.

Btw, I put an amp and the dsp under/in the dash on the drivers side, completely tucked away from view. Getting the equipment and wiring to fit was the most difficult part of the install. It's so hard to get to I can't even get a decent picture of the area. Lol

Basically, this is a stealth build. Anyone looking at the Jeep would have no idea that anything was done to the audio.

VERY nice install, great job. Wish I could hear it. I just don't understand why you didn't go with Kickers - haha

Made a couple changes to the system... Added Mille midranges to the sound bar, powered by a tiny Mosconi Pico amp. I tuned them to were they are overlapping some frequencies that were weak.
The interesting part is I was able to use time alignment and EQ to make the speakers disappear: no one believes I have speakers playing in the sound bar because you can't tell there is any sound coming from that direction at all!

I made some baffles out of plywood, and covered them with cf vinyl. The Mosconi amp was mounted behind my glove box... That tiny little thing puts out 200 watts of clean power! (some day I am going to do an audio build using 8-10 of these amps, just for the hell of it)

I retired my head unit and it will only be used for phone calls and XMRadio... This little digital audio player will handle the music!

I modified a handle bar phone mount to work and the player pops right off if it needs to. The cables run through the opening for the e-brake lever and through the console to the dash, where it's plugged in directly to the dsp. Basically, it's sending a digital signal directly to the processor and the processor does the digital to analog conversion...

The best part is that the sound quality and output have improved dramatically!!! It took me countless hours of tuning to get the factory head unit to sound really good, this new connection sounds really good right out of the box and will get even better with some EQing!

Tell me more about the DSP. I thought those were only 4 channel which would handle your Morels but what about the sub and how are you time aligning the speakers in the sound bar? Are you using a second DSP? Thanks
