Default Issues with load resistors

I just installed new switchback LED lights for my parking lights/turn signals on my 2014 Wrangler. As expected, I quickly started getting the hyper flash and knew that some load resistors would solve this issue. I purchased two Aaron load resistors and installed them perfectly (to my knowledge) and still no luck. I attached the two harnesses/clips to the black outside wire and the white outside wire and connected them with the load resistor. Did I read misinformed instructions or am much worse at the install than I thought I was?

Edit: I briefly got the passenger side turn signal to run properly but it was only for a few minutes, so I assume this means they aren't faulty

I tried a smaller wattage (from 50W to 25W) and it worked
