Lantsun LED Headlights with Halo Rings

Well I googled it and found this:
http://www.lantsun.com/40w-led-headlight-H4-G2.html
Appears to be a Chinese manufacturer.
Apparently these are LED *bulbs* that would be placed inside an existing headlamp assembly. Generally that's bad news for well-controlled and safe light output as the LED bulb and the filament bulb the headlamp was designed for typically produce light in very different ways.
So I would guess these are not plug and play.
They may light up when you plug them in but I'd be concerned that the beam pattern was out of control and possibly blinding oncoming drivers.
But if you have them--put them in and test it out.
Just don't leave them in if its creating all kinds of stray light above what should be the cutoff line. You don't want to get in an accident and be at fault as you had a light that didn't come close to DOT specs.

It wasn't just bulbs, it was the whole headlight assembly.... I haven't put them in yet but I've read on another forum that they work very well but wiring the Halo was a little tricky. The poster did say the headlights were plug and play and I've read somewhere else that they weren't.... I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with these.

Typically you'll have a headlight with a halo that would just plug and play but I've seen some headlights that have the halo and will have a connector (separate from the normal headlight connection) from the headlight straight to the battery that also connects both headlights.

Just put them in... They were plug and play for the headlights, but not for the halos.... I had to run a wire to my blinkers for the Amber halo to work with the blinkers and run separate wires to the fuse box in order to get the white DRL halos to work.... Wasn't to bad, about 30 minutes or so.... Lights look and work great, saved about $400 going with these rather than J.W. Speakers.
