My 08 has done this a few times. Cuts in and out then fixes itself. I can never figure out the problem.

Hey snopro269 it sounds like you might have a hardware issue. If you take it into the dealership they can run a diagnostic on it and verify if it is hardware failing or software related. (I doubt it's software related since you installed the update.) You can also reinstall the update again without harm to the MyGig as well. (This has fixed some weird issues I have run into)

Yeah I doubt it's software because I have ran it over 6 months since Your last update and it's worked perfect without any issues.
I am going to bring it in on Monday and see if the dealership can find anything!!

My 2011 had this occur last week. It came repowered right away and no problems since. It did, however, reset my EQ settings.

I thought of that but since my radio don't turn on that's not going to happen

My 2009 Navigation would freeze frequently but never shut off completely. Had the radio replace 3 times under warranty twice for that reason and once for the dvd shutting off.

My 2011 has been much better but the steering wheel controls stopped working for 2 days and then began working again.

I hate how radios are only warrantied with refurbished units. The replacement seems to have more issues than the previous, so I'm hoping to not experience more audio problems.
