how can it make the light flicker when the light is 100% removed from the can bus power system?
It doesn't take much power to flick the switch inside the relay and the CANBUS is sending digital signals to the fog lights it still thinks are installed. That's why I thought putting a 6 ohm resistor in the factory wiring in front of the relay might have helped. Oh well. I'll probably be getting these next paycheck so I'll try it triggering the relay first without anything then try a resistor and if that doesn't work I'll try a capacitor. I'll figure out a way to get it to work somehow.

Yeah from what I've read it doesn't happen to everyone. And also some people are just more sensitive to it.

What year is your Jeep? I know 2007-10 have 50w fogs. Mine's got 24 watt fogs.

I have a 09 , its easy to try ,unhook the fogs at the lights use some wire hook a relay to it see if it buzzes , they buzz because of low voltage.

I just installed an inspired engineering jK fog light LED cube light kit. No issues at all. It's all plug and play and uses factored switches and wiring.

I wasn't too sure about those inspired engineering lights since they were the same price as the rigids, but they're having a black Friday sale and I just bought a pair of their 6 cubes for $120. They've got the same connector as the factory fogs so I'll see how they work when they get here.

Inspired Engineering, IMHO, is better than rigid. Their customer service is awesome.

Yeah I couldn't really pass them up for almost half price. I can't wait until they get here. I'll probably be putting in some amber kc cyclones in place of my side marker lights that I had to relocate when I cut my fenders too. I'm hoping they'll light up the entire wheel well.

I have had my Rigid Duallys tied into my factory harness for a few months now. Yes they flicker a little but not enough to bother me. I guess they bothered the State Trooper enough to get his attention. I will be installing a different harness tomorrow. No more impersonating a law enforcement vehical for me.
