Default What battery for 2012 JKU!?

I'm at WalMart thinking this would be easy but I cannot find anywhere in the manual or searching online what battery I need. I have a 2012 JKU Sport

Basically a size 48. Preferably an AGM battery.

Diehard Platinum (from Sears), Duralast Platinum (from Autozone), there's a bunch of others. All depends on how much you want to spend...

I ended up finding the one comment about it in this forum. I needed a EverStart Maxx H6 730 CCA Battery

It's a lead acid battery. As long as it doesn't blow up you'll be fine.

Popular mechanics AND consumer reports did a pretty good write up on batteries last year. The yellow top and the likes were rated some of the worst. The Sears Diehard Platinum was rated the best for longevity, sustaining repeated discharges, resilient against cold and hot temps, etc. and, for the price, tough to beat the Sears battery.

I've seen too many product reports with wrong and/or biased information, to base my decisions on them. There was recently a thread about such a report, which bashed the Jeep Wrangler in a very biased way.

My son has dual Optima Yellow Tops, and so do I. That's 4 of 'em, to which I can add at least 5 more, of people I know. None of these Yellow Tops had any problem.
Quite a few, on this forum, report the same - it's a trouble-free long life battery.

Optima had a bad year or so, right after they moved the production to Mexico. Initial production bugs were solved, I don't remember which year it was.
Is it possible that you had a lemon from that period?
