Skid Plates anyone?

I recommend putting them on everything you wish to protect.
Aside from the stock ones, I have an engine/tranny/oil pan plate.
I intend to add:
Transfer case
Evap canister
Front and Rear lower control arms
I don't wheel hard enough right now to warrant replacing the gas tank skid, but that is another option.
I also replaced my diff covers with Teraflex covers.

stock transfer case skid is pretty stout, i don't think i've ever read anywhere of it being ruined...that one i would keep stock, along with the gas tank skid personally, save the weight and they are "free"
edit- I would get frame mounted sliders first, then an engine skid - most of those seem to come with an exhaust loop, then evap skid (this is debatable, you could relocate it also) then diff covers, then bumpers, in that order. I have a mixture of poison spider/evo/JCR, but there are tons of good companies out there. I would look at eautogrilles for their engine skid, i think its like $100

We're running the EVO protection system, I'd recommend it, combined with any of the evap skids. The EVO system does a great job protecting the exhaust crossover and bugle and the exposed AT line.

I got a new 2014 Willys and called 4WD and got the full line of Rugged Ridge skids.
Front and rear lower control arms.
Engine and trans.
Evap skid.
Muffler skid.
I didn't go aftermarket on the transfer case or fuel tank because I had read so many stories talking about how great they hold up.

Sid Plates-Be careful with Morris 4X4
I have a set of Rough Country diff skid plates, they won't fit w/ aftermarket covers(they fail to mention that) and Morris won't take them back because of paint. JK Dana 44 f&r if anyone is interested. Never been installed paid $300.
