So, I'm an idiot and got my new JK stuck yesterday. Lessons and questions.

Did this about a month after getting 33" dura tracks thought I could make it through anything. One of my worse decisions 4 hours with a shovel and a buddy with a winch I got home safe.

Guys I know the pull pal has been mentioned but there is an alternative. We were taught in Iraq in 03 to dig a hole. Place the spare wheel in the hole attach winch and cover and compact. Lots of time? Yes. Lots of effort? Yes. Gets you out of a jam? Yes.
Alternatively with some 3' lengths of rebar, a base plate with a hook and a good hammer anything is possible!
I aways carry an entrenching tool. Should be a standard recovery tool!
