something else cool just happened to me, a friend of mine with a car lot just bought a 07 jku thats lifted and regeared, he brought me the jeep and told me to swap anything i want! i havent figured out for sure what gears it has in it but im thinking they are 5.13's based on my test drive in it. i am paying a local shop to just swap the whole differential's between the 2 jeeps. i am not sure if it has any kind of locker or anything in the front but even if it doesnt just having the gears will get me by for a while, since im going on 35's tomorrow still with no lift :/ i am swapping a guy my 33's and a little cash for a set of 35's that have about the same mileage and 17" wheels

Non rubi and it's on 35's but the covers have been off of it and I know with no doubt it's been regeared. I'm pretty sure the gears are 5.13's based on the gear chart, turns about 2500 at 70mph by a GPS, speedo is way off

so i got the axles swapped today and they are most defiantly 5.13's set the traildash to 5.13's and 34.5" tires (what the grabbers measure mounted) and the speedo is dead on. it runs so much better now, its crazy. i havent had a chance to figure out if it has locker or tru trac or something like that i will know something about that tomorrow
edit: the shop called me today and said everything got straightened out with ups and i should have my shocks wednesday or thursday! so lift is going on this weekend!

so a little update after driving it about 100 miles with the new (used) axles under it, I actually dont feel like I am in the way on the highway anymore, I can set the cruise at 75mph and never come out of overdrive to pass someone or climb an overpass. i have decided that it has some kind of limited slip in the rear maybe a mechanical limited slip like a Detroit trutrac but not a locker for sure. i will pull the covers off both diffs and replace the fluid at some point in the near future but i do not have a garage to work in so i am at the mercy of the weather which has been rainy lately.

They aren't back yet, it's been a cluster **** to say the least. I haven't gotten the bill yet but was told $60 a shock for a complete rebuild including shafts. I would hIghly recommend you rebuild yourself after my experience with RK or atleast find another shop to do it.
