Man Stick ( 6 speed Manual) Check In
Alrighty folks. I could just be a weird-o ( strong case for this ) But every time I see a cool jeep I get extra happy when they are 6 speed trannys. So I thought it would be EXTRA COOL to have a place where we can introduce our toys that behold the ever controversial manual. Their is something about going back to the roots of Jeep history and driving a manual, that takes you back to the yesteryears of cj's, not to mention the extra work needed to navigate tough terrain. But we wouldn't have it any other way lol
Ill start with my 2015 Sport Hydro Blue 3.73 33 and leveling kit. It is my DD thus why it is still in pu$$y mode lol

Sweet Jeep Bud! Copperhead is such a awesome color in person. Pics do it no justice! Highly recommend a leveling kit in the mean time paid 130 for mine and installed it in a few hours.

Mine is only a 5 speed with 3.21 gears and 35's. But same same
I told my wife I was going down to the dealership to buy a new jeep. She said 'make sure its a manual' I told her I loved her.
All our toys are manual gear box. no exception

I like a manual trans in the 2dr JK, with the 3.6, 3:73s, it is torquey and fun. Plus, so much simpler than the auto, even though the 2012 and up 5spd auto is a drastic improvement.
Being fairly light and responsive is the key, otherwise all that up and down shifting is like rowing a boat, tiresome.
All of my "fun" vehicles were manuals, but found the automatic better suited to towing, JKU.
Plus, there is something to be said for actually being engaged in driving , instead of just sitting there, along for the ride.
Anticipating hills, corners, downshifting and powering out, very elemental and keeps attention where it should be , on the road,
