I'd like to get one made from one of these small plasma globes....

You'd think someone would have made them, but I looked and looked... nothing.

It would have to be really thick glass or encased in acrylic/lucite so it wouldnt break.

Question cheap shift knob

I bought a cheap shift knob for my 2007 wrangler 4 door. basicly I have no idea if it will work. The package says its for manual transmissions which I have , it also says it fits a shifter stem from 5/16" to 9/16" and has adaptors Included (will I need those)
I pretty much need a full tutorial on how to take my factory knob off and install this cheap knob I got from wal mart made by "auto drive"
Will this knob install without rattling and being loose???

thanx

I have the same one! I got another shifter from a wrecked jk, and hit the old knob off with a hammer and just epoxy-ed the skull knob on... If I didn't like it I could easily swap back just in case

Default Shift kbobs really are awesome!

i have it on and tight! i like that gear knob i think the lime green skull with the under bite is awesome! I used a slap wrench t loosen the factory shifter enuff to yank it off.( does work better in 2nd gear) to put it on i used epoxy and tighten the knob with the screws it came with. Shifter cost 13 bux! thanx for everyone help in previous posts.

So still no T handle type shift knob for manuals that I can find. Looking for something like the Hurst or B & M.
