Sorry for your loss Mark. Its not like you lost a member of the family, you DID lose a member of the family. God blessed you and gave him a very long life (Ecspecially for a large breed). I lost my last Bullmastiff right after his 3rd Birthday back in May 2010 and I was a frigging mess for a long time. That dog was my kid (Started buying Rubicons because of him). I know I am going to go through it again with my current two and it kills me to even think about it. At the risk of sounding corny, he really will be in your heart and thoughts until you die. I still think about my last boy all the time. Hopefully we get to see them again! Hang in their buddy.

Thanks a lot . And I will always remember him like you said . It's not hard to tell you are a true dog person like me and the wife . I took his paw print and it's going on my back over my heart as he always had my back and my heart as my next tattoo. I will get another one next summer maybe . Although they r so hard to lose it would be a shame not to give another dog a great home . Thankful he never suffered and just went to sleep at my feet like any other evening he was waging his stub at me mins before he went .
Short of some gray hair he looked as fit and handsome ever ! Thanks again for your kind words .

Me and my little bro Jax headed out to camp in the Ozark National Forest last weekend.

I rigged him up a harness that attached to the seat so he could move around a bit without being able to jump out of the vehicle.
