Default Stock(ish) JK's on the trail

Hey guys. New to the forum, but not new to Jeeping. I've been a CJ guy for years, so I'm used to people respecting a stock/original CJ, but I had a hell of a time finding a used rubicon that hadn't been molested, or beat up on, and very rarely see them out on the trail in stock form. I lucked out and found a nice gsa forest service 2 door that's cherry.

I'd love to see some pictures of what you guys do or where you've been in your stock(ish) rubicons! This little rubi of mine is proving to be extremely capable in stock form, and right now, I don't have many plans for aftermarket parts for it aside from a set of fox replacement shocks, and an evap canister skid.

Lets see those stock rubicons in action!

I'll post a couple pics later, but I wheeled my Unlimited in Stock form for its first 60k miles and it was outstanding offroad. I added a mixed 2" lift and run 33" km2's, so it is still in near-stock condition.

Cool, thanks. Anyone know anything about the red jk on the site banner? Looks perfectly stockish

You'll go extremely far with your stock jeep and even keeping it simple with 32's or 33's will allow you to do plenty enough to get into trouble.

More lift does not equal more "flex"- there's more to it than people realize. The upgraded shocks are a good start.

Synergy 2"springs and fox shocks with 34-10.50-17's flexy and will go just about anywhere. And rides and drives so nice and smooth.

I know, I know... guilty. I've been so backed up lately editing, that my personal photos get pushed all the time.

A cell phone pic will have to do for now. Fox shocks ordered this morning, and I'm staring at the replacement Rubicon hood decals I need to apply Click image for larger version
