A while back I bought a cheap MV-50 12 volt air compressor at O'Rilley's for $50 and have been waiting to get a bracket to mount it next to the brake booster. Last week I saw that Sinister Fab Works had a bracket on sale for $25 so I jumped on it. I have used the compressor several times and it works great. I can get all 4 tires from 10 to 30 pounds in a little over 10 minutes. It will be even better now that I always have it with me. I'm leaving the hose connected and have it secured under the hood.

I may get a tank later for quickly inflating toys at the lake and possibly short bursts of air tool use, but I have other things higher on the list right now.

Did you remove the rubber feet from the compressor and just hard mount it to the mounting plate?

I did the same about a year ago with a slime compressor. Used a hose clamp and Mounted it to the cage in the rear and ran the wires and hard wired to my optima yellow top. Works like a charm and airs in around 10min! Think It cost me about $60. Sweet mod!

Yes, I took off the rubber feet and put rubber grommets in the holes on the compressor.
I also had to flip the rear bracket that the feet are mounted to so it would fit on the Sinister Fab bracket. And I definitely recommend that you mount the compressor to the bracket, then mount the the whole thing in at once. I initially tried to mount the bracket then compressor and had to backtrack.

Thanks. For that price I may have to give this a shot. Do you just connect the clips when you want to use it and tie them out of the way the rest of the time?

For that price, I ordered one to use with my slime compressor....can't hurt to try
