If you wanted to get her a Rubicon and she opted for the sport, then no, don't put the sticker on there. If she wanted a sport and just like the Rubicon name? Why not. But, then you'll get ridiculed by people and have to fess up that your hen pecked either way. Hell, I have a rubicon and a buddy of mine swore it wasn't. I still hear about it.
Best to just go trade it in on a Rubi. Bring it home and show her she now has a Rubicon sticker.

When I bought the jeep, the guy before me apparently thought it was a good idea to put the rubicon sticker on it... I'm just too lazy and careless to take it off to be honest.. I don't give a sh*t what people think my jeep is or isn't..your wife wants the rubicon sticker go for it if that makes her happy then who cares.

Call it what it is man. Call it what it's not and if it ever under performs, the H2 / FJ / Honda / Kia / Hyundai and yes perhaps even the old LADA-Niva (google it kids) folks driving past will be saying to everyone "see...that's the best of the JKs that failed there. that's why we'll never buy one".

My friend has a 2x4 truck with a 4x4 sticker. When he got stuck at the beach and I pulled him out, bystanders asked if his 4x4 was broken.
