I've been married for 52 years so I think the most important thing is to make the wife happy. However, I think it's likely that she would be happy with something on the hood that is honest. I suggest something like (what ever her name is's "toy", or something like that. My rig is "Grandma & Grandpa's toy" and I get lots of approving smiles and and compliments on it.
I also get asked how often Grandma gets to drive it, so I guess it's probably more of Grandpa's toy than hers.

I had just the opposite happen on our 2nd one a 14 JKR. Wife wanted lockers on her's too. Being I did not want to go through the expensive again of adding them we got her a a Rubicon. She hated the Rubicon hood stickers and wanted it removed before it left the dealers lot.

I laugh at the fact that some would call your wife out, LOL the Willys is kinda in the same boat, its by NO means a willys some nice bells and whistles that get tossed out once you want the goods, but those stickers. its not like you're putting a CJ-7 badge on it.... J/k you dont need anyone's approval,

Why not just have pixie decals do one that says RUBINOT in the same font/style and add them. All set then. I'm going to have them do some in 10th anniv style with my own little wording and color style.

I had taken my Rubicon stickers off my '10 because I didn't like the look. I had a good two years of people criticize me about doing so much to my jeep and not buying a Rubicon. Then when I tell them I took the decals off, I hear why would you pay 6000 extra for a Rubicon and take the decal off?? Haha. I am sure I didn't buy it for the decal. I really like the 10th anniversary decal so had custom ones made with tech camo to match my star, and orange to match my custom painted xd addicts.

Who cares if its fake! does that make a "real" rubicon worth less? or does it more offend the rubicon owners because they use it as social status. the egos... because with those stickers you are an elitist poser that didn't pay for it!
