Still waiting on my VON or Vin from the dealer. How long does it take to get that from the dealer. Also does production start before you get the number or does the count down start from the time you get it.

As soon as they place your order they should have the VON number. Ask them for the build sheet on it, it will have your VON on it.

So I got my VON but I can't get Vots to work. They told me that it is currently in D-status. Not sure what that means. Any ideas or idea when this VOTS will be working

^^^^ VOTS is down and you have to call 877-I AM JEEP (877.426.5337) and do a check up with them. You just need your VON number, you can use VIN as well. Once you placed an order, the buildout sheet for your Jeep should have a VON number on it (Vehicle Order Number); use this to find your Jeep's status. otherwise when they finally get VOTS running again, the website is www.jeep.com/vots/index.html You need the index.html or otherwise it will tell you you've hit a dead end. ***edit*** sorry had the wrong prefix, it is 877, not 800.
Some representatives aren't great at their job and don't know VOTS is down. Some do. Either way they can get you the info you want with your VON. Their is a thread on this forum that will let you know what all the statuses are (D, D1, etc)

My Tank 2 door sport was built today. Happy Birthday Betty!! I ordered on 5/23. Rep said she's in Inspection status! Also said she should be at the dealer by the end of the month or the first of July. YAY! This has been a tough wait.
