Advice please
Hey guys, looking for some insight.
I have a price range of 22k for a jeep. Obviously a wrangler 08 or newer. Using for daily driver and camping trips. Going to lift it and put 33s or 35s. What model of the wrangler would best suit my needs? Also I plan on getting the sized tires mentions above with rims and a lift installed. What would be a ball park of what I should be looking to spend on that? Thanks for all your help

It really depends on what you want to do with your Jeep... If you are just looking for the looks, a Sport or Sahara will be okay (although the 35s may be pushing it). I would recommend looking for one with something other than the 3.21 gears though.
The lift again depends on what you are wanting to do and are willing to deal with. A BB is very cost effective but not the best for off-roading. You will need to fender-trim and/or add a leveling kit to clear 33s. 35s will require 2.5" minimum. Both will need properly backspaced wheels via either aftermarket wheels and/or wheel spacers (4.5" max). Cost of this could be a $100 Leveling kit or $3k for a really nice lift and shocks.
Sorry my answer is so vague, but I don't have enough info on what you are trying to accomplish to be more specific.
Edit.....
P.S. welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the Forum!
You may even consider a low-mileage 07. 07 Sahara's came stock (some) with 4.10s. I am running a TeraFlex 2.5" coil lift, Bilstein 5100 shocks, ProComp 35x12.5 Xtreme MTs & 15x10 152 wheels. I have no problems clearing the fenders (even though I trimmed them for more clearance) and experience minimal power loss with 4.10s. I spent about $1900 in parts and installed everything myself and I couple Jeep buddies.

If you plan on keeping it a mild "weekend warrior" I would recommend the Rubicon. It comes stock with upgraded axles and lockers and a better t-case. I don't know what they are going for now-days but I would get one with the newest 3.6 engine (years 2011+ I believe). IMO they are better engines than the 3.8
If you are going to go larger than 37" inch tires or do some heavy modifications in the future and save some coin on the initial vehicle purchase. It'll give you a clean slate to do whatever you want.

2012 was when the new engine was put into production. As for me, Im more of a camping back woods riding type. I dont rock crawl and I went with the teraflex puck leveling kit, quick discos, rugged ridge wheels and 33" duratracks. I love this set up. I get 16mpg in town and recetly took a vacation and on the interstate I hit 21.8 and couldnt be more happier, but keep inmind I have a 2012 with the new 3.6. I had a 08 and it was a dog while stock, youll be wanting to regear if you go with a bigger tire if you live where there are hills or mountains to climb.
