Default bike rack?

Does anyone know or use a bike rack that will fit over a 35" tire?

I had the same issue, so I ended up buying a Thule hitch mount 2 up rack. Works great.

Does that rack fit around a 12.5in wide tire? I'm having to take off my spare when I take the bikes out with my current rack and would like to not have to do that.

I just ordered a 4" drop & 4" extension for my Thule rack. I mounted the 35" spare this week, which led to the need for an extension....

I hope you're not considering loading a 35" tire and a couple bikes on your factory carrier.

Hitch is the best option IMO.

I chose to install Yakima's Sparetime bike rack. Holds 2.

How do you like the rack? That's the one I'm planning on getting.

I'm very pleased with it. It came with everything to install it as well as a cable lock keyed to match the lock on the mount.
