Default D rings stolen

Anyone ever had their D rings stolen off their rig in a parking lot, driveway, etc? Just curious? I have not but I worry about it so I keep them in my recovery bag.

Yes. A couple times. I bet I am net neutral though, or maybe even ahead, because I've found several on trails.

Thats the main reason for leaving them in your recovery bag, instead of having them displayed on your jeep bumpers--

I crank my pins down tight so if someone trys to swipe them they'll atleast have to have wrenches to take them off. No problems yet.

X2, have yet to lose one, although did catch a guy stealing the handle keeper of the hi-lift jack.

Did you convince him that was a mistake?

Couldn't agree more - You always know where they are, they don't make any noise, and they don't "walk" off.

I live just outside of a small town and it happened at our only grocery store so I did not make a big sence out of it. Did impress upon him that he needed to stay away from the Jeep.

I keep mine inside the Jeep. Plus then the threads are not all rusty when I need them. They do look cooler hanging off the bumpers though.
