Default Hemi in the JK a $1700 option?

I know this has been discussed before, but after a few days of driving my new Grand Cherokee back to back with the JK, I can't help but think a lot of people would spring for the 5.7L Hemi. Then I come across the window sticker in the glove box of the GC, and notice the Hemi was only a $1695 option on the Grand Cherokee. It also has cylinder deactivation and gets comparable mileage to the 3.6L Pentastar. Come on Jeep.

i would trade in a heart beat if that were the case. I'm guessing that it would be a much higher cost as they already struggle to build enough JK's to meet demand. I don't know if overall sales would go up or just the demand for the 6 cyl would go down.

Hopeful though.
