Hood Flutter ???

i saw my hood-dance on day one...
but i haven't fixed it 'cos i don't think i need to...
has a hood ever popped in transit... ???

Aftermarket latches are probably in the future, but I kinda like the thrill in high crosswinds. I just trust my center hoodlatch. A greater man than I said "trust but verify".

Removing the spring beats daystars, because it's $30 less. :P
To answer the guy's question above, I've never heard of a hood popping up in transit.
I've had the hood flutter ONCE since removing the spring at high wind speed, on the highway, passing an oncoming semi that was definitely speeding. Aside from that, not a movement.
I don't think hood flutter is actually an issue, and the central and hood latches do what they do. Daystars are over the top in my book. Then again, I also haven't been driving around in tornado country like a lot of you guys over the past few months...
