Default JK Interior Trim

Hi everyone,

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport with the "standard" black trim interior. I'm interested in adding some "pop" to the inside of my Jeep and noticed Rugged Ridge's Interior Trim Kit for 11-15 Jeep Wranglers. Below is the link to the product.

Interior Trim Accent Kit, Brushed Silver, A/T, 11-15 2-Door Wrangler

1. I'm curious if any of you have purchased and installed this product on your Jeep?

2. If so, do you find that it looks good? Or does it look tacky because it doesn't replace the trim, it just sticks overtop.

I am a little hesitant to purchase and install because it is mounted with high-strength adhesive and if I don't like it, I want to be able to remove without ruining what is there now.

Thank you for your thoughts and opinions!

I personally like the look of the mopar interior trim kit better. The vent clips and handle can also be painted to match the colour of the exterior of the jeep. Adds some personalization.

I removed the vent clips in my 08 and painted them because I wasn't happy with the stock colour

Hi canuckjeeper,

Does the Mopar kit attach with adhesive? Clips? Or does it completely replace the stock parts?

Thanks for your response!

Save your money and paint it. I did mine and it looks great. Cost me 22 dollars.

Yuriy,

What paint did you use? I'm going for an orange color...

Thanks!

I have anvil color jeep with red accents, so I decided to paint the trim anvil and paint the bolts red! I bought a can of anvil paint from quadratec and a can of flame red and clear coat from AutoZone. Its really easy to remove those things and put them back in.

That's awesome!! Very well done.

Thanks for your help, Yuriy! I appreciate it. I'll have to grab some paint and try it out!
