My Rubicon "JK" saved my life
Hello all on monday night I was involved in a horrific crash , Thank god I was in my JK with gods good graces i am ok little beat up but ok . Some !8 year old in a ford explore lost control and and jump a medium and directly hit me " I was heading east she was traveling west she was doing 60 mph plus heading west while i was doing 45 driving east . for any one who complains about a jk I have one thing to say to them , My JK saved me point blank the end if was in any other car she would of hit my head with her bumper and i would not be here . I love my jeep and it hurts me thats its going to be totaled god willing i will build another one .

Talk about two competing feelings. On one hand you are extremely happy to be alive but on the other your pissed as hell about the condition of your well modded rig. I'm glad you walked away from this.

The Lord takes you when its your time. It wasn't your time. He still has a purpose for you. Don't overlook His grace, and make your Father proud. Glad you're ok. The jeep is just a thing that can be replaced. We all love our jeeps, maybe a little too much?

Glad you are ok! I recently took a head on collision in my JK as well. The other driver was texting or otherwise not paying attention and hit me headon at over 70 mph. I walked away without a scratch the other car was hardly recognizable and he sustained more serious injuries but will recover. My wife who who was almost killed by the other driver trying to save an injured animal in the road could not believe I took a hit like that and just opened the door and walked away. We went out the next week and bought a new 2013 JK to replace it. I too believe my Jk save my life as well.

I'm glad you are ok! That is the important thing. It is definitely very unfortunate, but things will work out and you will be back on the road soon. I'm assuming she had insurance?

I'm glad you were able to walk away. The Jeep did its job and sacrificed itself. There will always be another one!
