Default sound bar question

Hi there,
I just bought an 08 Sahara unlimited and the day I arrive home I noticed it that the sound bar has like stripes(wood like). It looks like it was sanded but feels smooth to the touch. Im gonna post some pix..
I ask the dealer and she said all saharas came with that finishing wood alike touch,is it true?

I don't remember anything like that on mine... but once you post some pics, I'll know what I'm looking for.

Both our Unlimited and 2 dr 08 Sahara's have it. When plastic is pressure injected into a mold because of the cooling it makes what appears as waves or as you put it wood grain. No issues with it...just part of the injection process.

its kinda like splay. When it was injcted or shot into the mold the plastic was to cold. Its not supposed to look like that i am guessing. They need to adjust temp and cycle times.

Hi! and thanks for your reply...
So what do you think? I leave it like that or I ask my dealer to change it?

hmmm.. being nit-picky with cosmetics on a jeep? you should think about more fun topics like where to go camping/exploring/wheeling/leaving the suburbs or city and "have fun out there!"
