Default trading lemon for new jeep

Hey yall,I talked to my dealer today about trading in my 12 sport and having them trade me straight up for a 13 . My current 12 has already had the cyl heads replaced , shift knob replaced , it broke off in my hand, water leaks ,and now the heater does not work. The rig only has 10 k miles on it! My question is , is that right now I have a 6 speed two door with 3.21 gears , should the 13 I'm getting be an auto? I'm also thinking about 3.73 gearing with a tow package . Should I get a 4 door or two ? Opinions yall?

It all depends on your needs. I currently have a 09 JKR manual and my next will be a JKUR with an automatic. I've been reading about your issues and they should do something to help out. What dealership did you buy it from? I ask because I'm right down the road in New Waverly and I deal with Team CDJ in Huntsville and they have been very mod friendly and no BS.

I bought from Henson in madisonville, they are absolutely awesome! I wouldn't buy anywhere else. Their service dept is bar none the best, Corey a service advisor is one of the best service advisors I've ever dealt with. Right now my rigs at a dealer here close to home , Henson is a haul so it takes some planning to get up there

Sounds good. Just let me know about your plans. When you get time on a weekend, you need to stop by and have a drink at the Ranger Bar.

I'd get 3.73 gears. I have automatic cause I'm lazy. You would probably get better mileage with a stick.

See that's what I was thinking too ,I get around 22.5 now with the 6 speed and 3.21 gearing mines an s package too , so it has the 17" rims.
