Default What gear?

I like to drive in 5th on the highway going 75mph, what do you guys do? I'm trying to learn as much as I can.

There is a reason a sixth gear is part of your transmission, assuming you have a '12 or newer JK.
Do you want your vehicle to be a sprinter or a marathoner, wear and tear wise ?

I was told 6th was the O/D

Why would you not use 6th gear? If you are cruising at a constant speed, you might as well lower your RPMs. If you need to pass, downshift to 5th.

Well I was curious cause I'm getting better gas mileage by leaving it in 5th on the highway instead of 6th

Stock, I haven't lifted it yet but when I do I'm sure it'll be different cause I'm gonna regear it.

Well that doesn't make sense... The quicker you can get into 6th the better your mileage will be, but going into sixth too early will put a strain on your engine...

I never use 6th cuz the moment I'm in 6th I gotta shift back to 5th. Damn 3.21 gears lol
