Hard top one person removal

Like any project make sure that your top piece on your "gallows" allows you enough room to get between your jeep and the gallows. I have a thought about using my Boss Cart, to maybe modify my lifting bracket.

The orange hooks were purchased at Home Depot. Don't remember the name got them where you find the hooks to hang stuff in work shop. Needed a 2 inch throat to make a good bite on the rear at the window. Think they cost under 5 each.

Here is my first shot at a lift. Lower 2x4 will go under the furthest back bolt holes in the top. Plan to put a screw through the back holes in the top into the 2x4 (should keep it pretty secure). The front 2x4 has two rubber coated hooks to support the top near the rear doors.

That's the nice thing about pulleys the more you add the less work, the down side more pulleys more rope needs to be pulled. I very seldom go any more then a 3:1. The wench I am using is already 3:1 so no real work used to lift it.
