I like the idea, but I like the use of the lockable storage much better since the jeep is short of permanent storage. I am gonna replace the HU of my non-amplified stock setup. I just bought an SW826 sub for under the front seat. The guy at the stereo shop said it would be enough to fill the cab nicely. Maybe he just wanted the sale, I dunno, but I like it cause it's cast aluminum. I will let you know what it sounds like after I install it. They are imported and sold under different brands. Just google "SW826" to take a look.

I would like to find the powered one:
SW826V Self Amplified Under Seat Subwoofer With 2.1 Channel Amp
Then I have to find where I can connect it up to the base unit wiring.
..I don't have the Infinity system ..
Any suggestions??
