Winch mount W/factory bumper
#441
Here is mine...
Warn M8000 winch. Harbor Freight mounting plate. Winch controller is hidden behind the bumper. Clocked the end of the winch so the free-spool lever would clear both the crossmember and metal bumper w/o cutting. Didn't have to cut or lengthen any wires... everything fit perfect!

Awesome clean look
This is exactly how I want my Sahara to look when finished. Air do you have any additional photos of your install?
Just thought I'd post mine up again

All these write ups are awesome! Has anyone done this on a Rubicon model? Will the swaybar disconnect get in the way? Anyone have dimensions on a DIY winch plate?

When I did mine, I relocated the brake booster. I simply cut the existing bracket off the frame, mounted it under the hood and was able to just pull apart the hose and reconnect a shorter existing version. Note: I have a 2015 rubi. No problem with the disco, but the trimming and adjustment of the winch plate and the bumper took some test fitting.
