I need pics with and/or without flat fenders please! Just can't make up my mind on tire size!

Seems like a lot of lift for that size tire IMO. Have you looked on Google images?

I ran 285/75-17 toyos with a 1.5" lift and it looked good for a 3" lift and flat fenders you will need bigger tires. I am running flat fenders and 35" now and about right.

285 are too small with 3 inch lift, flat fenders will make is exponentially worse.

Flat fenders and 35s would look good and work awesome. Stock fenders and a lift with 35s is ok. Both is logically and visually silly.
