Kink in winch cable
So I was trying to use my winch today as a method to remove a big bush in my backyard. I have a zeon 12 and the bush just laughed at it. But while I was pulling cable I noticed I had several kinks in the line. I was wondering if this was normal or what I have to do to prevent the kinks??

Pls post pictures -- which would help in assessing the condition of the cable.

Pull the cable and take a close look at the drum before just slapping on a new synthetic line and fairlead. I was looking at this myself, but I think that my steel cable has eaten into the drum enough that I would need to replace it also.

Not normal. I did the same with my warn xd9000i too. It's cause we hooked around back to the cable. Supposed to use a "tree saver". I still gotta get synthetic myself.....
