Stretching a two door
#11
We have and our customers have done a few stretches on the two doors. Here are a couple with 5-6" Stretch: JK Stretch 6 by RockKrawlerSuspension | Photobucket And here is the Daystar Jeep with a prototype 3" mid arm strech: JK 3 Stretch by RockKrawlerSuspension | Photobucket We will say be careful with the super duty axles, they make packaging on the front more difficult. If you plan on going to a coil over, ORI, or Air shock in the future there is no room for a low axle mount. Instead you will have to create a mount to go up through the fender for a true long travel dampener/coil over. That or you'll be running a shorter throw version with limited travel. You'll have to trim the differential to fit the lower links and typically because of that will have to use dual heim joints or get creative with link mounts. By no means are we saying don't use that axle, just a fair warning that they do require a little more work and may have some limitations.
Yeah I was reading into that I plan on using the artec truss system to keep it simple for now

We know a lot about stretching a 2-door and a metric ton on JK swap axles. We have some stretch corner armor we will be releasing soon that actually looks good as compared to a massive comp cut. 6"-7" first, then 3"-4", then 8"-9". Beyond that and it is comp cut time.
We can also build our swap axles with brackets for a custom build.
