My buddy used the dyna beads? Had luck with them I just went with the stick on weights a couple tires took a bunch pretty common with the MTR's :(

I figured it would be pretty easy to mount my own tires and toss in the beads and not have to haul these to the tire shop. Step dad uses them in his Harley davidson wheels.

What's your take on dropping down 315 from a 37

I actually run 35" in winter with my Duratracs and 37" with my MTR's for summer.... Depends what you use your jeep for(pro's and cons for larger tires 37" and up). I can see myself one day dropping back down to 35" tires year round but for the next few years staying with 37's for my summer wheeling ..... I'll get the STT PRO's in 37's .... When it's time to drop down to 35's for good no big deal ..... I'm confident I'll still be able to do the same type of wheeling/obstacles I do on 37's..... I did before. For now I like the look of the bigger 37's

That's funny, I am moving to the same thing. I used to run 33s on the street and switch to my 35" MTRs for trails, all 15". Now I'm switching to 17s, so I bought 35" duratracs and need to buy 37" mud terrain tires, probably MTR because they weigh less than others and handle great.

Anyone want to buy my MTRs on black steelies?
And
Anyone have 17" wheels for sale with about 4" of BS?

;-)

Yah I like the 37s. I did notice at SMORR I drove over some stuff and the guys I was with veered around or took a different line.
I will be driving to ooray, co July 4th weekend so I thought it would be nice to pick up a couple mpg driving out there

I probably wouldn't think twice about going to a 35 if a manufacturer would make one that's close to 35 inches. Maybe make one that is 35.5. The cooper's I'm after only come in a 315/70 or 37s on a 17" wheel.
So that being said since my wheels are 10" wide, then the 315 would be skinny to me

Pitbull rockers are true 35" when mounted. I have them in 37" now and pinch seam had to be trimmed back to the tub with stock control arms. Rear bumper also had to be trimmed for a true 37".

Yah I looked at them online. I seen they measures at 35.5 so I like that. Just unsure about the road manners. This don't trail but once a month or every other month. Like to more but not enough time

My cooper stts in a 325/65/18 which is comparable to a 35 measured 33.25 on my jeep. I wasn't very happy with them but they went nice offroad.
