There is also a book available at Barnes and noble I can't remember the name but I'm sure one if not everybody else on here knows it that is packed with all the trails. I haven't bought one since I'm moving to montana this fall. Plus growing up around here I know where a bunch of the general areas are. There is for sure plenty to keep you busy.

Our fall maintenance run is on a Sunday, and you'll have your jeep by then!

What is this magical book you speak of? Is it specific to Jeeps or off road vehicles?

Yeah, this is a great book. Tons of information, ratings, directions, etc. I got both the Northern and Southern Cal book and they're awesome. Also, another resource that I have for camping is Moon California Camping: The Complete Guide to More Than 1, 400 Tent and RV Campgrounds (Moon Outdoors): Tom Stienstra: 9781612382920: Amazon.com: Books
