Whips
I'm interested in a big 'ole whip antenna. Does anyone have pictures of a 6' or 102" whip? Or should I stick with something like a 4' fire stick?

FWIW, although the 102" whip would be the ideal antenna to run, a lot of groups
wont allow them because of the whipping danger associated with them.
From a safety point, Id stay with a 4 '
Hope this helps.

Are you interested in the whip antenna for performance reasons or because it will look "cool"?
On the trail they suck because they find every tree branch and will beat the hell out of your Jeep and any bystanders. You would be better off sticking with a shorter fiberglass antenna.

FWIW, I v got two sitting in the garage.
one is metal and the other is fiberglass and
the only time I would consider using either one
is if I was running on sand dunes
and had a red warning flag atttatched to it.
