Does the back of a unlimited top cover the back seat then have the 2 panels over the front seat? I was at a salvage yard today and they said the top they had there was for a 4 door and it looked just like my 2 door top. I tried to argue that it was for a 2 door so I thought I would ask ya'll before I tried to win my case. I figure that the tops for all years of the JKs are the same.

Yes, the back covers the back seats and the two freedom top pieces cover the front seats.

Uhh, I would think the 4dr is longer, being that it has 2extra doors.

I argued my case today again and he still says it's for a 4 door. He said it's a different year than mine but I told him the 07-09 were all the same. He is dead set on this but I will be right in the end, when someone with a 4 door comes in to buy it, he will learn.

The back looks the same as on the 2 door except it has a ~2' extension over the rear seat.

The back half of the hard top is different for the 4-door and 2-door. The 4-door hardtop extends forward over the rear seats. I think the front freedom panels are the same, though. The 4 door freedom panels only cover the fronts seats, not the rear.

the back side windows on the 2 door is longer then the 4 door.check out jeep.com.so if the you have a 2 door and the back side window is the same the top is form a 2 door.

Yeah, the 2Dr has longer side windows.

The 4Dr looks kind of like a TJ top when the panels are not installed. See the "top lift" photos in my signature.

However... the 2009 Freedom panels are different than the 2007-2008 Panels. They added that center latch.
