San Diego Gear\lift install
Hey guys, first post asking for help. Tried the search function a lot, but I didn't find anything since 2012.
Any good places in San Diego area for work to be done? I've got all the parts I need for my gears to be swapped to 4.56. I called off road evolution and they quoted me 1300 in labor just for the gears and another 660 for the lift install. I really wanted to do my lift myself but I have never installed one and don't want to get in over my head. Any good shops you guys have used or any direction you can point me in? Thanks in advance.

Most lifts are actually pretty easy to install! Depending on the lift kit, there may already be a video or a step by step write up on it already on here or the internet.
I have had ORW and Brut4ce do work on my jeep when I broke in the SD area.

Right now any time I need something done that is beyone the skills of myself or other members of the forum I go to M.I.T. in El Cajon. Their work is top notch and their labor rates are a little below all the other off Road shops that I've used and that includes ORW over on Balboa Ave, 4 Wheel Parts in CV, and Rebel. Workmanship at all those shops is pretty good but I have had some hiccups from them that I haven't seen at M.I.T.

Just booked my appointment at MIT driveline specialists. Pretty awesome reviews both here and other sites so I feel comfortable giving them my jeep.
