Hey guys, starting a thread for everyone to watch the build of the Wounded Warrior buggy here on referred to as "the raptured duck".

A few of us in the transition program that teaches welding/fab got together and came up with the idea of building this buggy. The program gives an opportunity for Wounded Warriors and Vererans to learn valuable skills to use in the transition phase of exiting military service. I personally am a part of the program and love it. They are in the process of getting a bigger building built and more assets for the facility. The goal for each project is to gain experience and hands on training while earning certifications in welding/fab to ultimately help the individual apply for a job. I personally am donating time and money to the project. We are not looking for money or anything, just help turning a wrench or two. Parts are being purchased by a few of us, as well as we have had a few donated parts.

If you'd like to help turn a wrench or have some old parts laying around, pm me or post on here.

This week PCS donated some TJ axle take offs to us D35&D30!

We might be getting a 1994 Cherokee as a partial donation/purchase!

Sponsored by Eagle Eye Fab and Wounded Desert racing.

Keep checking back for pics and updates while we make "the raptured duck" come to life!

Thanks man,

Yeah we were discussing this today- we have a ifs class 1 buggy frame. But, we liked the idea of keeping the jeep look and building of the Cherokee. We are going to pro and con it on Wednesday. Either way I think we are staying solid axles.
