Default jeep smokes from under hood occasionally

I have an 07 Sahara, about 1xx,xxx miles on it. I've noticed a few times while driving (for example last night) that when I'm at a stop light waiting sometimes there will be a bit of smoke coming from the front of the jeep. I haven't been able to figure out why,the jeep runs smooth. And the temp gauge on the dash says everything is normal no CEL. Any ideas what it could be?

We get looks all the time.. it's the radiator.. mainly the transmissions coolant system.. which sits in front of the radiator.. Once water or moisture is in/on it like after washing or a rain shower.. it tend to look like smoke but is nothing more than steam.

Unless you're smelling the sweet smell from your coolant system or a burnt smell like oil etc.. and especially right after the etch guys do an oil change.. most are not as careful when draining the oil.. Valvoline cringed when they seen the mess under our jeep after the filter blew..

tend to agree unless you are seeing puddles or signs of leaking...

Ok cool, no puddles or drips ive seen, I was just nervous as the last jeep I had was a WJ and that was notorious for overheating. My buddy thought cracked exhaust manifold, but yeah I think you guys are right. No sweet smell of antifreeze and no burning oil smell.

It used to happen all the time with my '09. Anytime the radiator got wet...in rain, or, after I washed the Jeep. Steamy steamy!

I have a 14 sahara and I get this occasionally as well especially if idling under the morning sun.

Considering the coolant is embittered would you actually smell it as sweet?

That's when I first noticed it, I was at the stop sign at the end of my street on the way to work and thought oh great! The other time I was dropping my buddy off from the bar and at a stop light he said dude I think your car's smoking might be an exhaust manifold, he had an 86 fiero gt with a cracked manifold
