Default maual tranny fluid question

i know the 2012 6 speed takes a ms-9224. synchromesh or similar. i have looked up two synthetics which state they are suitable but have different viscosities.

royal purple synchromax appears to be a straight 10w while the amsoil synchromesh is a 5w-30. am i missing something?

I have always used Amsoil Syncromesh in my 6 speed and it made a huge difference in shift quality

I changed out my factory fluid for the amsoil in my 2013 rubicon. It made the cold shifting better, and tranny feels all around smoother. Its not a life changing difference, but def worth the small cost and time to do it in my opinion.

Awesome, i live in Alaska now, so with the cold sounds like a great thing. BTW just wondering does your shifter vibrate a lot? nothing violent but sometimes im like hmmm is there something wrong feels strange...

though it rides and drives perfect, might just be me being timid of my new baby.
